Today's Music
'Truby Trio'
Christain Prommer, Roland Appel & Rainer Truby
Side A & AA
NuJazz, Broken Beat, Latin
This appears to be a sample cut LP. One side, A, has a number called 'A Go Go' and the other side, AA, has one called 'Carajillo'. It is a made in Germany album with an instrumental latin style to it. Very little vocals except a guy in the background with a strangly synthesized voice chanting randomly throughout the recording. Strange but I loved the broken beat. Now I guess I can say I have an album with a 'Side AA' and I could win a bet with some pleb who doesn't spin vinyl.
'Different Drum'
Linda Ronstadt
Side One 'Different Drum'
Folk Rock
Great early Ronstadt! Has her #1 title song recorded with The Stone Poneys. Very nostalgic 60's sound with a folk/country/rock feel. I think some early Ronstadt is some of her best stuff.
'London Town'
Wings(with Paul McCartney)
Side Two 'Famous Groupies'
Soft Rock
Easy listening.
Currently listening to:
'Nine Tonight'
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band
Rock and Roll
Footnote: I will start adding genres to the info in the listings, updating old listings and info when I have time.
